Aiwan-e-Iqbal Complex is a monumental conceived and built to pay homage to the Shair-e-Mashriq and Mufakkir-e-Islam Allama Muhammad Iqbal. The Complex is intended to serve as a center to spread his message of continuous struggle for the glory of Islam, unity of Ummah and revival of Islamic spirit. The total area of the Complex is 42-kannal and major components of the Complex comprise a Conference Centre & three interconnected Towers (27-floors).

The complex has been designed keeping in view the local heritage and architecture. The facade attempts to depict Iqbal’s philosophy of uprightness and self-confidence. The slenderness of elements is meant to represent the delicacy of his poetic expression. A judicious combination of fountains, waterfalls and greenery, also, enrich the quality of environment and provide a measure of relief from the harsh commercial surroundings.

CHAIRMAN MESSAGE

Aiwan-e-Iqbal is the gateway of creative engagement with the moral conceptual model of modernism at a sophisticated philosophical level. It highlights the concept of “The reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam” and also illustrates the basic concept of the philosophical ideas of Iqbal. From this perspective Aiwan- e -Iqbal tries to convey the message of Iqbal for people, especially to young people and children. To help this great effort we have launched an official website. It will facilitate research updates on upcoming events to spread the message of Iqbal. As Chairman, I am confident that Aiwan-e-Iqbal is inculcating the spiritual, religious and philosophical message of Iqbal.
